The sixth round of China Super League brings a great challenge to Tianjin Quanjian: beating Jiangsu Suning for the first time. The encounter statistics do not favor Paulo Sousa’s team, with two draws and one loss. But the game at home in the next friday, 13th april, is all they need to break this hoodoo.

Paulo’s squad comes from a 1-0 victory against Guizhou Zhicheng in a tough game away from home. The team got used to the 3-4-2-1 formation adopted by Sousa, showing a solid organization both offensive and defensive. But the desire to get the three points and the importance of the match resulted in four yellow cards to the Tianjin Quanjian’s players.

The next opponent has also won as a visitor in the last round of China Super League with 2-0 score over the Guangzhou R&F. Occupying the 10th place in the table, with 6 points, Quanjian is a one victory away from Jiangsu Suning, the sixth place. Reaching the 3 points in this match could mean a jump in the national ranking for Paulo Sousa’s squad.
